Sean White is Managing Director of North River Ventures.
He was president of Centennial Strategic Partners VI, L.P., a Denver-based communications venture fund, from 2000 to 2008. CSP’s limited partners include carriers, manufacturers and other strategic players in information technology.
From 1990 to 2000, he was a principal of North River Ventures, which he co-founded with Francis McInerney.
He was CEO of Northern Business Information Inc., a New York-based publishing company specializing in telecommunications, from its founding in 1976 until its acquisition by McGraw-Hill Inc. in 1988. He continued as Director of Business Development until 1990.
He holds a B.A (Honours) in economics and history from the University of Toronto, and an M.Phil. (Diploma) in historical studies from the University of Cambridge.
With co-author Francis McInerney, he has written three books about the relationship between innovation and wealth creation.
